Knowledge. Exchange. Networking:

Review of the first eurofunk Customer Day in Baden-Württemberg

On July 10, 2025, the first eurofunk Customer Day in Baden-Württemberg took place at the historic Steinbachhof in Vaihingen. Under the motto: “Experience. Network. Think Ahead.” we welcomed a total of 42 participants from 16 control centers. The event specifically aimed to provide impulses on the topics of future-proof control centers, artificial intelligence (AI) in emergency communication, and IT security.

The focus was on professional exchange regarding current developments in control center technology. The diverse program offered practical specialist presentations, open discussion rounds, and opportunities for personal encounters.

Professional highlights with practical relevance

Particular interest was given to the presentations of our guest speakers:

  • Christian Scheuble, head of the Integrated Control Center Waldshut, presented key insights from the ongoing pilot project „Alternis,“, an innovative translation function for control center communication.
  • Eric Rietzke, CEO of Livereader, demonstrated how artificial intelligence is already being efficiently used in control centers today and what potential exists for the future.

Tradition meets technology: venue with history

In addition to the professional part, the venue itself offered a special experience: during a tour of the traditional Steinbachhof winery, participants gained insights into the history of the former royal domain—from the Cistercians to modern viticulture. A stylish wine tasting rounded off the event in a relaxed atmosphere.

A format with a future

Numerous positive impressions characterized the day focused on control center technology and emergency communication. We sincerely thank all participants and speakers for the inspiring conversations, the open atmosphere, and the great interest in the topics.

The starting signal for a series of events with a future has been given.
