In an emergency, every second counts – and knowing the exact location can make all the difference.

Accurate location information is essential to ensure that help reaches the right place as quickly as possible. Yet in stressful situations, reliably communicating one’s whereabouts can be challenging. Language barriers, unfamiliar surroundings, or sheer time pressure often hinder clear communication.

This is where Automatic Location Transmission via AML (Advanced Mobile Location) comes into play. When an emergency call is placed, the smartphone automatically transmits precise location data via GPS, Wi-Fi, or nearby mobile network cells to a national AML endpoint. No additional apps or manual input by the caller are required. As a result, location accuracy improves dramatically—from more than 1,000 meters to just 15 to 50 meters.

Our interface solution automatically retrieves AML data from the national endpoint, seamlessly integrates it into the dispatch interface, and clearly visualizes it on the map. If the caller’s location changes during the call, their movement is displayed as a track in real time. This solution is already fully integrated into eOCS, ELDIS3, emc², and IDDS UCiP.
