Our Sustainability Report

We are convinced that even small steps can make a big contribution to sustainability. For us, sustainability means taking responsibility in our day-to-day business operations—with clear figures, transparent actions, and continuous improvement. In this way, we create a measurable foundation for a more sustainable future at all our locations and beyond.

Sustainable Mobility – ÖBB

In 2025, our business travel by train resulted in a CO₂ reduction of 19.7 tons—roughly equivalent to the annual CO₂ emissions of about 10 to 15 average households (depending on consumption assumptions).

In addition, we actively promote the use of public transportation, including by providing climate tickets and supporting a culture of sustainable mobility within the company.

Photovoltaics & Energy

Our photovoltaic system at our headquarters in St. Johann im Pongau makes an important contribution to sustainable energy supply.

Through the use of solar energy, the following production volumes were achieved:

  • 2022/2023: 478.645 MWh
  • 2023/2024: 412.589 MWh
  • 2024/2025: 436.525 MWh

The annual energy output could theoretically supply around 100 average single-family homes with electricity for a year (depending on assumed consumption).

In this way, we reduce our reliance on external energy sources and continuously improve the energy efficiency of our site.

Resource Conservation

Through targeted measures to reduce paper towel consumption, significant savings have been achieved in recent years:

  • 2022/2023: 113.760 meters
  • 2023/2024: 440.600 meters
  • 2024/2025: 140.600 meters

This corresponds to a total of approximately 394.9 kilometers of paper towels saved—comparable to the distance from St. Johann im Pongau to Vienna.

Circular Economy – IT Hardware

As part of our sustainability strategy, we focus on the targeted reuse of IT and office hardware through internal redistribution and employee programs.:

  • 2022/2023: 65 devices
  • 2023/2024: 81 devices
  • 2024/2025: 103 devices

This corresponds to a saved amount of resources that, in the production of comparable IT hardware, would be associated with, among other things, an estimated water consumption of around 2.5 million liters—comparable to the capacity of an Olympic swimming pool.

By extending the lifespan of our devices, we reduce electronic waste and promote the resource-efficient use of existing hardware.
