Preparation determines the quality of deployment
eMS – a new approach to integrated operation preparation and follow-up
An operation does not begin with the emergency call.
And it does not end with the last radio message.
Between these two moments lies a complex organisation of planning, coordination, documentation and analysis. This is exactly where the eurofunk-Management-Suite (eMS) comes in – as a central platform for mission preparation and post-mission analysis, fully integrated into the eurofunk portfolio around ELDIS 3, eOCS und eBI.
For more than 25 years, eurofunk has been supporting emergency services of all sizes on their path to greater efficiency, transparency and safety. With eMS, eurofunk is now continuing this success story in its fifth generation – web-based, flexible and consistently geared towards practical application.
Everything at a glance – from planning to billing
eMS combines pre-operation and post-operation processes in a shared system environment:
- Duty scheduling (fire safety monitoring, training management)
- Operations reporting
- Fee billing
- Logbook
- Warehousing (deployment resources such as equipment and devices)
The result: in addition to emergency call and operations control, administrative and management processes are also handled efficiently, consistently and in a time-saving manner. Without system breaks, without duplicate data entry.
Thanks to modern web technology, eMS works wherever it is needed:
on the desktop in the control centre as well as on the go on a tablet or smartphone. Responsive design, touch optimisation and ongoing development in line with current web standards ensure maximum future-proofing.
Duty scheduling that thinks for itself
In an emergency, it is often the right person in the right place at the right time that makes the difference.
The eMS duty roster module provides the basis for this.
Planning groups enable even large organisations to be mapped in a structured way – including individually definable hierarchies and areas of responsibility. Separate organisational units with clearly regulated data access can also be mapped.
The duty roster module also includes the two sub-modules fire safety monitoring and training management.
In-depth employee management
All relevant master data is managed centrally. Qualifications, availability, organisational conditions – everything is incorporated into the planning.
Attendance planning ensures that sufficient and appropriately qualified personnel are available every day. Daily and employee key figures are updated in real time and can be flexibly configured and highlighted in colour.
And when things need to happen quickly?
An automatic staffing proposal generates efficient function allocation at the touch of a button – based on individually defined criteria.
Graphically interactive planning pages adapt to both personal working methods and different end devices.
Transparency creates controllability
Account management and key performance indicator systems provide clarity – both in attendance and function planning. Account balances can be clearly displayed and, if required, serve as a basis for export to external systems such as SAP. Flexible PDF printouts enable targeted transfer of information.
A specially integrated area for fire safety monitoring provides support in particularly demanding planning situations.
Training management complements the range of functions with the planning and implementation of one-day and multi-day training courses. The system supports both the organisation of appointments and the structured management of participants.
One login. All possibilities.
Like all eMS modules, the duty roster also uses central user and authorisation management. One login is all you need – regardless of which module you are working in. Master data and transaction data are available across all modules. This reduces sources of error, saves time and ensures consistent data management throughout the entire system.
Information where it is needed
With the eMS info screen, relevant information – such as current vehicle occupancy or employees present – is visibly placed in the room. The design is independent of the eMS interface design and can be optimally adapted to spatial conditions. Optionally with sound playback or text-to-speech for particularly relevant changes.
Data becomes insight
In combination with the Business-Intelligence-Tool eBI lassen sich Daten aus allen eMS-Modulen sowie aus ELDIS 3 and eOCS can be analysed flexibly. Live dashboards provide exactly the key figures that are needed at the moment – for operational decisions as well as for strategic development.
